Cyberbullying Teachers

Social Media and bullying - two terms we hear a lot about these days. Technology has transformed the way people bully each other, particularly in school. It’s widely-known that teenagers suffer from this new form of bullying, but what is pretty obsurb and shocking is that teachers are now victims, too. In a recent Plymouth University study, 35% of teachers report that they have been subjected to online abuse and cyberbullying. And even more surprising is that 26% of this abuse is carried out by parents. Some states, like Georgia, have legislation in place to protect Georgia teachers. Hence the importance of social media monitoring by all industries, including education.
