As I recently bought the Snapchat subscription, I can tell you how amazing the features are. The best of them are the Planets in order: Snapchat Solar System.

If you are wondering, what are these planets on Snapchat in order? How do they work? You need not worry! I am here to help you with it and present my analysis here. 

What are Snapchat Planets?

Snapchat Planets are very much like the actual planets that resemble your friendship bond as per the planet’s position.

It is one of the features introduced along with the dark mode, story rewatch count, and other Snapchat+ features. This update came somewhere around June 2022, and since then, it has been trending all over Snapchat. 

Of the trending features, the Snapchat Solar System comes out as the most intriguing. To understand it, you have to take references from the solar system in general.

With that said, you are the sun of your solar system, along with your eight best friends (I feel sad for the mighty Pluto!). So, following it up, your closest friend will be Mercury, and the next one will be Venus.

Although Snapchat has the planets made for each friendship level, it doesn’t display their names. Hence, I have compiled all the Solar system planets in order: Snapchat’s chronology.

1. Mercury

Mercury on Snapchat+ represents your best friend on the app and is the closest to you. It is the first planet in your ‘friends solar system’, just like the real one.

Snapchat’s Mercury is displayed as a red planet with five hearts and glittering emojis around it. Therefore, if you want to find your best friend, you must look up to this planet first.

2. Venus

Up next is the hottest planet in the solar system, Venus, which shows your brewing friendship. It is the second planet in Snapchat’s solar system, representing your second close friend.

To spot your next close one, you can identify Venus as a light-brown-colored planet surrounded by pink, yellow, and blue hearts.

3. Earth

The Earth planet on Snapchat represents your lively friendship with your third best friend. Being the third planet in the solar system, it resonates with the relationship between Earth and the Sun, which makes for the best bond.

If you want to find the earth to your sun, it is the easiest one to identify. Snapchat’s earth also has the same green and blue color with stars, moons, and hearts surrounding it. 

4. Mars

Mars, better known as the red planet, is the fourth planet in Snapchat’s solar system, which displays your fourth closest friend. Again, it is similar to one of the actual planets that you draw. 

If you see a red planet surrounded by blue and purple hearts and colorful stars, you have found your Mercury. And thus, your fourth best friend!

5. Jupiter

Jupiter, the fifth planet in the solar system, represents your fifth closest friend on Snapchat. The biggest planet is your sign of a great friendship with someone.

Snapchat’s solar system displays it as a reddish-orange planet with orange stripes and surrounding colorful stars.

6. Saturn

Next, you have Saturn as the solar system’s sixth planet, which makes for your sixth closest friend on Snapchat. Again, it is very easy to find your Saturn among the lot.

Saturn on Snapchat is represented as an orange planet with a ring engulfed in the magic of several stars.

7. Uranus

The seventh planet in Snapchat’s solar system, Uranus, is a sign for your seventh closest friend. To find them, you have to identify Uranus first.

As per Snapchat’s solar system, Uranus is displayed as a green-colored planet surrounded by yellow stars.   

8. Neptune

To complete your best friends list on Snapchat, Neptune, as the eighth planet, represents your eighth closest friend.

Neptune is displayed as a blue planet with a wavy pattern surrounded by glittering emojis but no hearts.

How Do Friend Solar Systems Work?

You probably noticed badges under profiles if you’re a Snapchat+ user. The best friend badge indicates that you’re on each other’s top eight best friends list.

On the other hand, a friend badge means they are not on your best friend list, but you are one of their eight best friends. You can check your position by tapping the badge to discover your planet.

To access the Solar system planets in order, Snapchat offers a Snapchat+ subscription. The Snapchat Plus subscription is priced at a monthly price of $3.99. Likewise, if you want to take a six-month or annual subscription, you have to pay $21.99 and $39.99, respectively.

• Open the Snapchat app on your phone and head over to the profile section by clicking on the top-left corner.

• Then, tap on the shiny Snapchat+ tab to get access.

• Next, based on your requirements, you can pay for the subscription.
